It does the job. No complains for the money spent.It's the lightest weight of my other three Snugpak bags or quilt. It didn't come close to the temperature rating. But worse than that this is the narrowest bag I have ever had. So narrow that it was hard to zip it up. As much as I like Snugpak having other bags of theirs and tent, plus tarp I have always enjoyed their quality, yet cannot endorse this product. It seems they are trying to compete in a marketplace but are just throwing things out without doing much testing because I'm 5'6" 138 lbs and the saying fits like a glove comes to mind. I'm not a glove my body needs some room to turn, I'm a side sleeper, but this whole bag moves with me as I turn. None of their other bags fit as tight as this one does. Plus each of the other bags are well within or surpass their temperature ratings, this one is twenty degrees off its mark. I'll give it my neighbours kid he's tall and thin.For the money, this is a great bag. Did a solo overnighter with this, had a liner and bivy but it was 25 degrees in Pennsylvania. Stayed warm all night even after my fire died. Be careful with the compression sack, it will rip fairly easy. Bag fits into my 35 liter pack with no issues. I would recommend this bag.I've heard and read good things about the Snugpak brand, so when I needed a new sleeping bag I went to them. I was looking for something in the 20 degree range and settled on the Basecamp Ops Sleeper Lite, which is advertised on Amazon and the Snugpak website as having a Comfort rating of 23 degree F and Low of 18 degree F.I waited while it shipped and was excited to unpack it and give it try to see how it felt space wise, but as I pulled the bag out of the shipping box I was looking the end of the stuff sack where is said Comfort 32 degree F and Low 19 degree F. At first I thought I was mistakenly shipped the wrong sleeping bag or had made a mistake in my ordering. After checking what I had ordered, the Snugpak website to make sure the description on Amazon matched (they did) it appears that the information that Snugpak advertises is false.To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. It may not sound like much, but a 9 degree F difference can matter. I while I would like to believe that Snugpak is not purposefully misleading people, I'm at a loss.So buyers beware if you purchase this sleeping bag. I didn't get what I thought I was ordering.I am 6'8 and this sleeping bag came with me to the Boundary waters in Minnesota, the bag kept me warm and all i was wearing was pants and a tshirt, so it keeps you nice and warm. Also we had some minor rain and it kept me dry even though some of the rain was splattering into our tent.I would recommend this for someone who wants a compact sleeping bag and needs that extra length. Beat my local store by almost 20 bucks when i bought itVery nice and good quality, maybe a Little tight for me, but it's ok, i'm 1.76m and 220 lbs guy. I have not been in very cold places with it, but al least at 10 Celsius it's very warm and confortable.Good enough bag I'm just slightly irritated by the fact that the comfort rating is advertised to be 23 degrees farenhite and the low is advertised to be 14. upon opening the box I realized the actual comfort rating is 32 degrees farenhite and the actual lie is 19 degrees.Great bag, but there's plenty of other bags far better priced with the same quality if not better. Given that, You won't be disappointed with this product though. I'm just Simply saying, price point folks.If anyone is aware of the weather in the UK right now (May 2017) you will know it is not unlike winter temperatures but this sleeping bag is extremely warm providing you have a decent base mat. If you prefer to stretch your legs out at right angles while you are sleeping though then maybe a 'mummy' design is not the bag for you. I tend to do this myself in warmer climates although in cold climates I don't move around too much so this bag has worked out nicely for the UK. If it does become warmer then I would equally be happy to sleep on top of it with it being very comfortable.Decent bag for the price doesn't pack down small enough for hiking or anything but if your moving your gear with car it's small, plenty warm in cold weather and feels sturdy enough, only complaint is its fidgety to zip up fully, but might just be my build.This sleeping bag is great in general (I slept well in it) and warm (I tested it for 0-5°C) but it's taking much more space than in the description (even when compressed).A big bigger then expected in the compression sack, but a little bit of pulling on the straps and I made it small enough to fit nicely in my pack. Just hope it'll hold up.Update: I've now tried out this bag a few times in temps from 5c to negative -5c and its kept me fairly warm. At the colder end I woke up a bit throughout the night, however I attribute this to the fact that I didn't have a sleeping pad or any insulation on the ground. The bag is a also a bit too big for me, so there is room around the foot area, although this actually might be a positive so I can fit a hot water bottle or hand warmers down there to keep nice and toasty throughout the night! For reference I am 5'7", this bag is probably better suited for someone around 6'. As mentioned in my original review the bag is VERY big while compressed: I'm not sure if there's something i should be doing to make it smaller, but it takes a third of my Renn 50 osprey pack easily and to save room I have been hanging it off the outside. It is definitely not the size shown in the pictures while compressed. Overall it's a good sleeping bag and I would buy from snugpak again, although maybe a model down that will hopefully be smaller.This is my third edit, and I've bumped down the review to two stars because the zipper on mine has completely broken after only 2-3 weeks worth of use. The zipper has fallen off completely and I cant find a way to get it back on, even if I could, the zipper started to come undone with the slightest touch or pressure, meaning that I would wake up in the morning with an open sleeping bag and freezing hands/feet. Combined with the nearly 20 litre size, and the price increase, I would not buy this bag again, there are many cheaper bags that will preform much better and hold up to the test of time.Das ist mittlerweile mein fünfter. Es ist nicht nur besser, sondern auch günstiger beim Hersteller zu bestellen.Bin mit der Qualität voll und ganz zufrieden. Der Schlafsack ist recht günstig für diese Leistung. Benutze ihn für Outdoor Aktivitäten und für die Krisenvorsorge.
