While I enjoyed this book, it did not totally meet my expectations. It covers a large range of Scout related activities. Where I was disappointed was in the fact that the coverage within an area was spotty. For example, I would have liked to see how a given type of patch evolved over the past century. Instead you get a few examples with no particular story or history to connect them. I was glad to get the book and look through it; however, it is a book that I will probably pass on to someone else and not keep as a reference book in my library.
